Hawaii Residency Programs

John A. Burns School of Medicine/University of Hawaii at Manoa

Residents are eligible for use of the UH Cancer Center Health and Wellness Center. 

Currently residents and HRP staff are not eligible for access to the Warrior Recreation Center.

Individuals who are enrolled in the Na Kupuna/Senior Citizen Visitor Program (SCVP) are eligible for a membership at the Warrior Recreation Center.Category 2 membership fees apply.

Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children

OB/GYN and Pediatrics residents/fellows are eligible for access to their fitness facility.

Kuakini Medical Center

Health and Information Tips (e.g., diet, exercise, jet lag, skin care, sleep, stress) can be found on their website.


Pali Momi Medical Center

            Health and wellness classes can be found on their website.


Straub Medical Center

            Health and wellness classes can be found on their website.


The Queen’s Medical Center

Spa services and acupuncture for men and women are available for purchase at reasonable rates at the Women’s Health Center.


Wahiawa General Hospital

            Health-related worldwide web resources can be found on their website.


YMCA (branches include: Atherton, Central, Kaimuki-Waialae, Kalihi, Leeward, Mililani, Nuuanu, Windward)  http://www.ymcahonolulu.org/locations

The Nu’uanu branch is closest to The Queen’s Medical Center and Kuakini Medical Center.  More information can be found on their website.
