DEBATE: Assessing Alexithymia in Psychosomatic Patient Samples

After the development of the alexithymia construction 30 years ago, many different ways to measure it have been developed. Still, there is not a "gold standard" to assess alexithymia. Especially no standardized interview technique exist. In this debate the assessing of alexithymia will be discussed.
