The University of Hawaii Orthopaedics Residency Program
The University of Hawaii Orthopaedic Residency Program is an ACGME-accredited five-year orthopaedic training program under the auspices of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for ten resident positions. The Program offers 2 Categorical positions per year and has two entry tracks: the traditional 5-year Track and a 6-year Research-Track which includes a research year between PGY-1 and PGY-2. Acceptance into PGY-1 is made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Applications are accepted through ERAS exclusively.
