Each of the three Chief Residents spends four consecutive months at Kuakini Medical Center, The Queen’s Medical Center, and Hawaii Medical Center East. Residents are evaluated at the end of every rotation by faculty, chief residents, nursing staff and other health care professionals with whom they come into contact. Residents are responsible for the evaluation of senior residents, faculty, rotations and the program. In addition to the face to face feedback which is a cornerstone in medical education, the program utilizes the web-application New Innovations. Residents will be notified by e-mail when evaluations, on the part of residents, are due.
